Source hierarchy

For system care and safety, we prioritize public agencies, local regulators, system manufacturers and primary technical documents. For product facts, we prefer official product pages, labels and safety-data sheets.

Manufacturer claims

When a seller states that a product changes odors, sludge, bacteria, clogs, pumping frequency or wastewater quality, we attribute the statement to that seller unless independent evidence supports us stating it directly.

Corrections and updates

Septic rules and product formulations can change. Material product or regulatory changes should trigger an update.
